The application of individual talent is our services model expressed as a motto. The three important aspects of this are:

1. Individual — Ideas, work, and leadership don't spring from "the collective". They are the products of individuals. Therefore, you won't find any hazy, "feel good" consensus-based work styles here. Not that we are opposed to working with others, but only on the basis of collaboration between intelligent individuals. Our pride in the "team" comes from the skills and accomplishments of our colleagues, not in the membership in a "tribe".

2. Talent — It's the knowledge, experience, and skills of our people that solve our clients' problems. Simply having more "pairs of hands" to follow direction isn't the high impact, high value type of work we do. The talents that address problems as an integrated whole ("systems thinking") and also break them into appropriate components ("logical decomposition") are exceptional and valued highly by us.

3. Application — To make the individual talent referenced above valuable to a client, we must apply it to the client's problem. This means that the client's problem and its context must be understood thoroughly. Reciprocally, the solution and its environment must be effectively communicated to the client. All of this must be done within the time, cost, and other constraints of the project. An individual's ability to do this translates the potential of talent into the value of a project success.
